Crisis Management

For troubled and distressed companies, our consultants offer on-site crisis management to restore order, confidence and credibility in an effort to sustain corporate survival. We provide the two most important things required for a company in a short-term survival mode: control and prioritization of the company’s cash flow, and credibility to outside parties and corporate employees.

When we work with management who may not possess the immediate, specific skills nor the necessary internal fortitude for crisis situations, we apply our survival skills to steer a course for a company experiencing financial free-fall. While we are primarily consultants, we will, where necessary, provide interim senior management services until conditions are stabilized.

We develop short-term relief with creditors by negotiating either standstill agreements or restructured terms on back debt in order to provide the client company the time to put a realistic long-term turnaround plan into effect.

With a strong executive and entrepreneurial background, as well as literally hundreds of challenging assignments, our consultants have strong experience in counseling and assisting business owners through the paths of emergency crisis management, stabilization and ultimately return to growth.

Deliverables:

  • Placement of company’s back debt on hold
  • Negotiation of standstill agreements with secured and unsecured creditors
  • Negotiation of new terms with suppliers and company unions
  • Coordination of resourcing efforts
  • Working agreements with company unions
  • Preparation and monitoring of a Turnaround Plan and detailed cash flows and financials
  • Communication with all outside parties and priority stakeholders
  • Assurance of continued source of supply from vendors
  • Negotiation of workable plans with tax agencies
  • Reduce corporate overhead expenses and management of available cash to ongoing operating expenses
  • Tight control of cash disbursements
  • Implementation of cost controls on all cost centers
  • Interim senior management services
