Bruce
Wood heads up our firm's services in the areas
of business strategy and growth. With over 30
years of managerial, executive and entrepreneurial
experience, he services our clients in the areas
of management and turnaround consulting, corporate
financing, mergers and acquisitions, strategy,
marketing, lean management, feasibility studies,
leadership and change management, automotive supplier
and real estate workouts.
Before
joining Kenneth J. Dalto & Associates he served
as an economic analyst and business writer for
different publications. He then co-founded and
worked as the CFO and COO of two public securities
information systems and publishing companies that
serviced Wall Street investment banks. He later
served as interim financial manager for several
distressed businesses involved in financial turnarounds.
Since
the mid-1980's Bruce has been a management consultant
and has assisted several hundred companies in
achieving finance capital and operational improvement.
He has also prepared numerous economic and market
feasibility studies for a variety of private and
public development projects in the U.S., Canada,
Europe, Russia, Pacific Rim, Mexico and China.
Bruce
has authored several articles and given seminars
in the areas of strategy, turnarounds, planning,
marketing, change management, leadership and creativity.
He has co-authored books published by Kenneth
J. Dalto & Associates, the "Due Diligence
Manual" in its third printing, the "Cost
Cutting Manual" and a Strategic Management
Series.
Recognized
for his unique qualifications, he was asked to
participate on the Advisory Board of the Business
School of the University of Phoenix in 2006. Bruce
is in demand for his expertise in real estate
development project concept, planning and feasibility
studies. He has worked for several Michigan communities
developing plans to revitalize their local economy
with unique growth catalyst projects. These included
downtown development and arts projects in Jackson,
Eaton Rapids, Owosso, Pontiac, Albion and the
Barnum Center project in Birmingham, Michigan.
In 2002 and 2003, Bruce was the lead consultant
in a development project to renovate the Pontiac
Silverdome into a $450 million entertainment complex.
He was also the lead consultant for a proposed
casino complex in downtown Detroit.
