As an experienced finance and real estate professional, Marc Brandt brings our clients a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of real estate. Marc has extensive expertise in real estate development and finance, including experience in areas such as acquisitions, due diligence, budgeting, project design and layout, entitlements, environmental remediation, tenant build outs, lease negotiation, property management and project financing.
Marc has taken on a critical role in our firm’s real estate workouts, court appointed receivership work, on-site property management, real estate financings and real estate sales in liquidations and divestitures.
Prior to joining Kenneth J. Dalto & Associates, Marc worked for a national Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) specializing in retail shopping center development and management. Marc provided essential budgeting, cost tracking and financial reporting duties critical in achieving a successful development.
In addition, Marc spent 10 years with a real estate development company with assets in all real estate classes including residential, office, retail and industrial. During his tenure with the development company, he managed all facets of acquisition, development and management of new projects, both commercial and residential. Included in his responsibilities were the successful management and operation of over 400,000 square feet of existing office and retail developments as well as the oversight of tenant build outs, lease negotiations and financing.
He further has a background in banking and lending
with over three years in a national commercial
bank’s credit and lending departments. Marc
has a Bachelors Degree in economics and finance
from Albion College and is a licensed real estate
salesperson in the State of Michigan.
